Futures Evening Tuesday 12 July 2016 3.15pm-7.00pm
Here at Workington Academy we aim to ensure that all our students are aware of the wide variety of careers available to them after their time here with us, we are therefore holding our first Futures Event for students and their families to attend.
This event will provide you and your son/daughter the opportunity to meet with representatives from a range of apprenticeship providers, employers, colleges and Universities. Representatives available are listed below. We will also offer a range of optional talks through the evening offering more in depth information.

|6.30pm||Applying for Apprenticeships||Students finance and the UCAS process|
The evening is a key opportunity for all students and their families to discuss career paths and explore how to pursue those goals throughout the remainder of their education, ensuring that they make the right choices as they enter into Key Stage 4, as they embark upon their Post-16 Education/Training or consider the options available at age 18.
After listening to the talks and speaking to the representatives available we welcome your family to join us for refreshments within our café area to discuss your findings together.
We hope that you will be able to join us on this key evening to help support your son/daughter explore their future.
