The principles that guide everything we do at Workington Academy.
We treat every person with dignity, celebrate our differences, and create a community where everyone belongs.
We take ownership of our choices, support one another, and contribute positively to our school and wider community.
We embrace challenge, learn from setbacks, and keep going — because growth happens when we push through difficulty.
Be the best you can be
This is your school. These are your people. This is your place.
Every day matters. Being here means being part of the WA community.
We want every student to feel known, valued and proud to be part of Workington Academy.
Through effort, rewards and recognition, we celebrate students who show respect, responsibility and resilience.
From clubs and sport to radio, leadership and enrichment, there are opportunities for everyone.
