Today’s assembly saw students in Year 8 being congratulated for their achievements over the first half term – in terms of attendance, behaviour and vivo points.
All students in Year 8 who have demonstrated 100% attendance this half term were congratulated, along with those who have not accrued any consequences.
Students who have scored high numbers of Vivo points within this first half term were also congratulated, the top 10 Vivo points scoring students from this half term being:

Each Form Tutor was also asked to nominate a star of half term from within their form group, someone who has shown real progress this half term and demonstrated our core values of respect, responsibility and resilience to the best of their ability and contributing to their form group positively. The final and most anticipated award given out within the assembly was the ‘Year 8 Rewards Cup’ – awarded to the Form Group with the most Vivo points scored throughout this half term. For the first time throughout Year 7 and 8 – the winners were 8AHO! This was met with roars of happiness and delight from Mr Hope and his form group!
