Linda Hewitt, Chief Executive of Hospice at Home West Cumbria, spoke to all of our Year 12 tutor groups this week to help in their research for the £30 for 30 Challenge. She spoke about the local hospice and the vital work and support that is offered by them.
The teams are working with Katie Harper, from the Business Connectors Programme, who has arranged for staff from PPM and Kaefer to support them with planning their event. The students are learning from professionals the practical use of creating a team, creating a business plan and developing this with the aim of raising the most funds for the 30 for 30 Challenge.
