Year 9 Young Men into Higher Education

Yesterday, 20 Year 9 boys, visited the University of Cumbria in Carlisle. It was an exciting day designed to engage young men and promote the idea of progression on to Higher Education. Throughout the day there was a variety of interactive subject taster sessions allowing students to explore the wide range of subjects available at University. Students also attended engaging workshops which focused on progression routes, together with opportunities to explore the campus and they spoke to current students about their experiences at the University of Cumbria.
