On Wednesday 15 November, United Utilities took over the main hall at Workington Academy to bring to life exciting careers in the water industry. Students had the opportunity to meet some of their colleagues, graduates and apprentices to get a unique insider view of the diverse career opportunities there are in the water industry.
They heard about some of United Utilities major projects in Cumbria, what goes on behind the scenes in their labs as well as hearing first hand about how different school subjects can start to shape future careers!
