Today, after some initial technical difficulties, Mrs Headley’s Year 10 class were involved in the Royal Shakespeare Company’s ‘Live Lesson’ on Romeo and Juliet. This was a live streamed, interactive session delivered by the RSC company from the Swan Theatre in Startford-upon-Avon. Students could see the rehearsal process in action, followed by a question and answer session where schools sent questions to the cast and crew.
Over the coming months, there will be a number of productions being aired live in school, starting with Twelfth Night. It is our aim that as many KS4 and 5 students as possible will be able to watch these productions to gain a better understanding of the plays in performance. Watch this space!
