Workington Academy Learning Support Department were delighted to welcome members from the West Cumbria Down’s Syndrome Support Group to the Academy on Thursday, 17 May, to collect a cheque for £519. Tom, Kate and Thomas are all students here at Workington Academy and along with other students ran several events during Down’s Syndrome Awareness week to raise money to support this fantastic local charity.
