Our Year 7 Performance and Rewards Assembly took place on Thursday, 19 December, to mark the end of our Year 7 students first full term at Secondary School.
Year 7 student Shara Cunningham opened the assembly with a fantastic singing performance of Bruno Mars’ ‘Talk to the Moon’, whilst students watched a montage of photos of their time at Workington Academy so far.
Every Year 7 Form Group contributed a performance to the Assembly, in which students performed, acted, read aloud, sang and danced and posed Christmas Quiz questions, before a variety of prestigious Awards were given out to mark notable individual and form group achievements from across the Autumn Term including Attendance, Subject performance, Progress, Music, Drama, Sport, Wider School Contribution, Attendance at Clubs, Accelerated Reader, Achievement Points and Form Tutor Awards.
