Four of our KS3 students visited Flimby Primary School and supported their World Book Day. Keeley Bird (Year 9), Erin-Nicole Peers (Year 8), Demi Norman and Lexie Bird (Year 7) spent the morning at Flimby Primary School visiting different classes and reading stories to them, as well as giving students the opportunity to read to them. This was very well received by staff and students at the school and gave the Flimby students confidence to read aloud to others throughout the remainder of the day.
Well done girls on continuing to be fantastic ambassadors for Workington Academy!
