We are delighted that Year 13 Student Lucy is this week’s “Person of the Week” in the Workington Times & Star!
Lucy has just been appointed ambassador for the UK-German Youth Council 2021-22 run by the UK-German Connection. Lucy impressed the Youth Council with the very high standard of her application and was selected from a large number of applicants to join this forward-looking organisation which seeks to foster strong links between Germany and the UK. As part of her appointment, Lucy has been invited to attend a conference in Cologne in December.
Lucy is a gifted linguist and extremely talented student. She is a fabulous role model to younger students within our school community, who aims to take her language studies further at St Andrews University next year.
