I have made the decision that it will be compulsory for students and staff to wear a face covering when they are on the corridors from Thursday, 17 September.
I am pleased to inform you that we are now able to extend our Free School Meals provision to provide food at break time for all students in receipt of Free School Meals.
As part of our baseline assessments for Year 7, students will be sitting Cognitive Ability Tests (CATs) during their lessons in the week beginning Monday 14 September.
Applications are now open for Workington Academy places in Year 7 for September 2021.
We are looking forward to re-opening fully to all students in September.
As promised, I write to you to provide some further information on our plans for full reopening next week.
