It is with great pride that we announce the triumphant victory of Workington Academy’s Year 8 rugby team in the Cumbria Schools Rugby League Competition.
It was music to our ears to hear that Workington Academy’s radio station has been nominated for two ‘Young Audio Awards’ this year!
The students displayed great mathematical knowledge, problem solving skills and teamwork to achieve the number 1 spot in a field of 14 teams made up of the strongest mathematicians across the county.
We can’t wait to welcome our new students and parents/carers who are joining Team Year 7 in September 23 to Workington Academy on Wednesday 7 June.
