Students at Workington Academy successfully completed a 24-hour Danceathon to raise money for the school.
Last Friday, numerous cakes, biscuits, buns and hot drinks were devoured across all of our Trust schools for CET’s Big Coffee Morning, in an effort to raise money for the Macmillan Cancer Support charity.
Yesterday, two Cumbria Education Trust (CET) schools held a Safeguarding Showcase event, attended by distinguished visitors.
Prior to you visiting the academy, we will be hosting a Virtual Open Evening on Wednesday 20 September at 6.30pm, which can be accessed via our website and social media sites.

It has been a fantastic morning at Workington Academy as thestudents have arrived to receive and celebrate their 2023 GCSE results.

All students who took part in our CET Innovate Competition, were recently awarded Headteacher Recognition Awards from Mr Bedford, including our team of finalists – Jordan, Riley, Laney and Millie from Year 7.
