After just one day of the spring term, it is all change again! You will all know by now that remote learning will be in place until the February half term.
Year 11 students have now completed their first set of trial examinations and have generally worked very hard under difficult circumstances.
There are a series of catch up exams next week for Year 11 students who missed any of their trial exams due to self-isolation.
Workington Academy students and staff are delighted with an excellent set of GCSE results.
GCSE results day is on Thursday 20 August and results will be available from 8.00am to 11.00am in the Sports Hall.
We are pleased to offer our current Year 11 the opportunity to purchase leavers’ hoodies.
Students in Year 11 and Year 13 studying vocational qualifications, including BTEC and Cambridge Nationals should no longer continue to work on internal assessments for their course(s).
Recent information from Ofqual has stated that students will not be required to submit any further work to be awarded a grade for their GCSE courses.
NCS is a three-week programme held over the summer and it has a range of start dates.
