Workington Academy joined in Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning. Students and staff baked and donated cakes, which were enjoyed by all.

On Tuesday 30 March, eight Year 10 mathematicians participated in the AMSP Maths Feast, an educational challenge designed to test their problem solving and teamwork skills.
On Friday, 7 December, Daniel Bell, April Mossop, Danielle Hayton and Matthew Glover from Workington Academy’s year 12 took part in the Senior Maths Team Challenge at Caldew School, Dalston.
Year 7 and 8 students at Workington Academy are celebrating success in a national maths competition.
Time is very precious now and we want to ensure that our students have every opportunity to work closely with teaching staff to prepare as thoroughly as possible for the examinations. Therefore there will be a programme of revision sessions running during half-term.
We are offering some Sixth Form intervention sessions during May Half Term.
