Stories, updates and proud moments from across Workington Academy.
As promised, I write to you to provide some further information on our plans for full reopening next week.
We are almost at the start of the new school year and, as promised, the following information outlines the plans as to how Workington Academy will operate in the new term.
This is the end of our fourth week in lockdown and our students are continuing to make good progress through their on line learning.
All students will be supported remotely through our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) called Firefly.
We are inviting all students in all year groups across Workington Academy to help us to show support for this year’s Remembrance Day by joining in our Poppies in your Window Design Competition and Poppy Pebble Parade.
After half term we are making some changes to our COVID restrictions for students and staff.
Don’t forget to use our Recommended Daily Working Schedule as a guide for students to help create a positive routine whilst they are working from home.
Please check out our Recommended Daily Home-Working Schedule for students to help create a positive routine whilst they are working from home.
We want to take this opportunity to thank you for your support in helping your child to adjust to the changes of home-schooling and assisting them in completing a wide range of work set for them so far.
