In order to ensure all students can achieve we have clear entry criteria requiring grades 4 in both English Language and Mathematics plus 3 additional grade 4’s in any other GCSE subjects. Individual subjects have additional entry criteria as shown below.

Students will be required to choose 3 subjects from three different blocks, A-D plus one reserve subject.
Students who satisfy the entry criteria will be invited for an interview to further discuss their courses and receive individualised careers information, advice and guidance. We recommend that parents also attend these interviews.
In July students will begin their courses, so it is vital that students attend these introductory sessions. Both students and teaching staff will be able to discuss any concerns arising following these two days of lessons. During this time, students will also be given work to be completed over the Summer break which is a requirement to continue their course.
