Activities Week 2018

Dear Parent/Carer,

We are running two activity days on Tuesday 17 July and Wednesday 18 July. Your child has the opportunity to partake in up to four different activities over these two days, these can either be on or off site or a mixture of both. Activities will be allocated on a first come first served basis and once you have chosen your preferred activity you will be unable to change your choice. Payment for all off site activities will be collected from Monday 11 – Monday 25 June. Students should bring all monies/cheques to Student Services during break on these two days. Payment will not be taken at any other time. Please make all cheques payable to Cumbria Education Trust.

Should you wish for your child to attend this trip but are worried about the financial implications, please contact us for further information as the academy will endeavour to support parents.

Offsite activities include:

  Tuesday 17 July Wednesday 18  July
Full Day (pick a maximum of one activity per day) Blackpool Pleasure Beach- Departure from the academy will take place at 7:30am and students will return for 17:30pm. The cost for this activity is £28.00.

Jump Mania and Cinema (Incredibles 2, certificate U). Departure from the academy will take place at 9:15am and students will return for 14:45pm. The cost of this activity is £15.00. Mountain Biking at Whinlatter- Transport will be provided by the school mini bus. Departure from the academy will take place at 9.00am and the students will return for 15.00pm. Alternatively, if your child wishes to remain in school the following activities will be running over the two days at no charge:

School attendance in the last week of term is compulsory. School finishes for the summer at 3pm on Friday 20th July.
