We are excited to be launching our ‘Language for Learning’ scheme across the Academy this week.
Students will be given the opportunity to expand their vocabulary by learning, researching and using a range of words and their root origins. Our students will work together across Key Stage Three to share new vocabulary and become confident in using it in their reading, writing and speaking. Students will be given a new root word every Friday and will be expected to research and find as many examples as they can over the weekend, to use in their learning over the following week.
