Given the success of our Workington Academy Community Amarillo Video, we are launching our Amarillo Part 2 Challenge – to raise money for local key worker charities and to further support our fantastic Workington Community.
We are challenging all of our students and staff to walk, run or cycle every day in June to help us travel collectively the 4580 miles from Workington Academy to Amarillo.
All you need to do is track your miles travelled each day and upload your evidence of these to Firefly each week.
We will update our collective distance travelled each week to see how far on our journey to Amarillo we have travelled, with our aim of reaching Amarillo before 30 June.
Get your families and friends involved and add sponsors and donations for your completion of this challenge to our Workington Academy Just Giving Page (details for this to follow), with all money raised, going towards local key worker and Workington community charities.
