Workington Academy’s School Sports
On Thursday 7th July Workington Academy’s School Sports Day will take place. During the day each student will compete in at least one event and will support their tutor group in what we expect to be a very exciting and successful day.
Students will need to come to school in their full PE kit and bring plenty to drink, although they will get their regular break and lunch time.
Students should also come suitably equipped with a warm jacket or suntan lotion depending on the weather.
Itinerary for day
The students will compete in the field events in the morning. The track events and the relay races will complete the day in the afternoon. We are looking forward to seeing all students involved striving to be the best that they can be.
Unfortunately, we cannot allow parents onsite to watch Sports Day, however our school radio will be reporting on the events via our social media.
