I am immensely proud of all our sporting achievements this year, there are so many that we have provided a summary of all our successes in 2023/24.

Year 7 Girls Football: Runners-Up in County Cup Final

Year 7 Students Qualify for County Athletics
Year 7 athletes have qualified to represent Allerdale in the upcoming Year 7 County Athletics competition.
Year 7 Athletes Representing Allerdale:
Frankie Hewer – 100m & 200m: Frankie’s speed and determination on the track have secured her spots in both the 100m and 200m events.
Elise Taylor – 100m & High Jump: Elise has shown remarkable versatility by excelling in both the 100m sprint and the high jump.
Halle McDonough – 1500m: Halle’s endurance and tenacity have shone through in the 1500m event.
Isabella Hill – Standing Triple Jump: Isabella’s technique and strength in the standing triple jump have earned her a spot in the county competition.
Amelia Hussain – Long Jump: Amelia’s prowess in the long jump has secured her qualification for the county competition.
Lacey Bray – Shot Putt: Lacey’s power and technique in the shot putt have earned her a place in the county competition.
Eddie Thompson – Discus & Shot Putt: Eddie has qualified in both the discus and shot putt events, showcasing his strength and versatility. His excellent performances in these throwing events have made him a standout athlete.

We are delighted to share the incredible accomplishments of one of our star athletes, Grace, who has recently excelled in the county athletics competition. Grace’s hard work, dedication, and exceptional talent have led her to remarkable successes in both the long jump and the 100m sprint. Please join us in celebrating her achievements and wishing her the best as she advances to the next level of competition. Grace delivered an outstanding performance in the long jump, securing first place and earning the title of county champion. Her precise technique, combined with her determination and focus, resulted in a winning jump that left her competitors in awe. This victory is a testament to Grace’s dedication to her training and her passion for the sport. In addition to her success in the long jump, Grace also excelled in the 100m sprint, finishing in second place. Her explosive speed and impeccable form earned her the silver medal in a highly competitive race.
