Workington Academy Radio enjoyed a hugely successful day of live broadcasting, with students demonstrating professionalism, confidence, and teamwork throughout. The event was a real highlight of the school year and showcased the power of student voice.
The Christmas break is upon us, and it has been a very noteworthy and successful term. Our students as ever have been amazing in getting involved in so many activities in the last few weeks.

Some school buses are not running
Cumbria Education Trust is pleased to announce that Workington Academy has been designated as a lead school in the roll-out of a new national attendance initiative.
As part of the career information offered at Workington Academy, Year 10 students will complete a week-long work experience placement.
