On Friday 7th March 2025, Workington Academy will be taking part in The Biggest Ever Football Session, an initiative designed to get as many girls as possible playing football on the same day! This nationwide event coincides with International Women’s Day on 8th March and is part of the #LetGirlsPlay movement, encouraging more opportunities for girls in football.

- Lunch A: Year 8 & 9 Girls (Referees: Year 11)
- Lunch B: Year 7 Girls (Referees: Year 10)
