Our Year 12 Computer Science students have been working on a robotics project for five weeks, designing, building and coding a robot that can clear hazardous materials from a nuclear decommissioning site.
They attended RAICo1 in Whitehaven where they presented their work to a prestigious audience of engineering and robotics experts, demonstrating their robots in action.
There was huge praise for the students, with Luke and Abigail winning the competition overall and each receiving £50. Connor , James and Vinnie also impressed the professionals with the superb skills they exhibited throughout the day.
