Recently, students from West Coast Sixth Form attended the Nuclear Network: Innovation and Digitalisation in Quality event at Energus.
The day was designed to inspire and inform students about the evolving world of nuclear energy, with a focus on innovation, digitalisation, and quality assurance. Through interactive sessions, live demonstrations, and networking opportunities, our students gained valuable insights into careers across STEM and the nuclear sector.
From robotic arms and drones to AI goggles and robot dogs, students explored cutting-edge technologies and heard directly from leading organisations including:
Sellafield Ltd, Nuclear Waste Services, Cyclife EDF Group, UK Atomic Energy Authority, AtkinsRéalis, Capgemini Engineering, Core Nuclear Solutions, Balfour Beatty, West Cumberland Engineering Ltd, Bendalls Engineering, Great British Energy, Quality Volunteering, and the British Standards Institution.
A huge thank you to Energus and all the industry professionals involved for such a brilliant and thought-provoking day, our students found it both useful and inspiring as they explored the opportunities and challenges of innovation in quality.
