Dear Parents and Carers
We can now confirm that England won! We held off sending this letter until the result was known, as we didn’t want to tempt fate.
Uniform Arrangements for This Week
With a busy and exciting week ahead, I am writing to let you know about some further temporary adjustments to our usual uniform expectations. Please see the details for each day below.
Tuesday
We will maintain our relaxed uniform standard as an adjustment for the warm weather. Students should continue to dress comfortably and sensibly in our summer uniform, in line with the guidance already shared (blazers and ties are not required).
Wednesday and Thursday
Students may wear PE kit, an England kit, or red and white in support of the team, as we get behind England and then either celebrate or commiserate the result together as a school community.
Friday
It will be PE kit for our amazing end of term celebration day. We have a fantastic day of activities planned and want every student to be comfortable and ready to take part.
Regarding Wednesday, Thursday and Friday it is important that all shorts are loose fitting and are in line with our PE uniform policy. Tight fitting shorts should not be worn for school.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support. We are looking forward to a brilliant week to close out the term.
Yours sincerely,
Barry Simpson
Head of School
