Dear Parents/Carers,
I am delighted to invite you, and members of the wider community, into the Academy as part of our Wellbeing Week offer 2024.
On Thursday 11th July we are hosting our first community Wellbeing Festival, leaflet attached. We invite you to come and join us. The focus of the event is to promote wellbeing and make the community more aware of different agencies, services and clubs that are on offer in the local area – for all ages. At the time of writing this we have over 35 agencies coming along to this event.
We know that childcare at these events can often be a barrier to attendance so we are offering free soft play for children 4 and under – this will be provided by Little House of Play. There will be craft stations for older children too.
Refreshments will be provided throughout the night, free of charge, and there will be opportunities to sit and chat with other members of the community, the school and local agencies and services.
We are also holding a raffle – all attendees will automatically, be entered into a raffle; the draw will take place on Friday 12th July. Prizes include:
- Supermarket Voucher
- Cinema Tickets
- Restaurant vouchers
- Sports club vouchers
- Pamper Hampers
- Beauty Vouchers
There will also be performances from some of our students, throughout the event.
This is looking to be a great event and something that I hope will really benefit our community. Please pop this date in your diary, we look forward to seeing you there!
