This engaging event featured a range of high-profile keynote speakers, including Sir Ian Bauckham, Chief Regulator at Ofqual, and Leora Cruddas, founding Chief Executive of the Confederation of School Trusts, who provided valuable insights into the future of education and the challenges we face.
Last Friday, numerous cakes, biscuits, buns and hot drinks were devoured across all of our Trust schools for CET’s Big Coffee Morning, in an effort to raise money for the Macmillan Cancer Support charity.
Yesterday, two Cumbria Education Trust (CET) schools held a Safeguarding Showcase event, attended by distinguished visitors.
Children aged 3-18 from CET schools wowed a capacity audience with their spectacular one-off ‘Shine As One’ show.
Cumbria is set to host leading voices from the national education sector at an event focussed on improving opportunities in the county.
The Academy is now at the point where it must make an application to the Department for Education to increase its overall capacity figure of 1200 due to the year on year increase in student numbers.
This is a profoundly sad moment for the whole country and indeed the world.
