KS3 Students Keeley Bird (Y9), Erin-Nicole Peers (Y8), Lexie Bird (Y7) and Demi Norman (Y7) visited Flimby Primary School on Thursday. 12 December to support their Foundation Stage Christmas performance of ‘A Christmas Journey’, which was a story written by Year 8 student’s Erin-Nicole Peers’ Grandfather, who is from Workington and has since been published into an illustrated Christmas story book to raise money for Cancer Research, following his death.
Our students were able to support the Flimby school students in their performance of the story, before visiting classes and reading the story book to a range of students and spreading the magic of Christmas captured within the story to them.
