Our Year 7 and 8 Netballers had a fantastic time this afternoon at their Masterclass Coaching Session with Superleague and Manchester Thunder first team player Ashleigh Neal who visited Workington Academy today.
Our girls enjoyed a two hour coaching session focusing on improving their attacking and defensive skills followed by specific areas of match play and picked up lots of tips and techniques throughout the afternoon. Thank you to Ashleigh Neal and Manchester Thunder for being able to give our players this enriching experience.
Our Netballers are now looking forward to our visit to watch Ashleigh and other Superleague players star for Manchester Thunder vs Loughborough Lightning in Manchester, this coming Saturday.
