Despite freezing temperatures and icy conditions, 26 of our resilient and determined students showcased their grit and determination at the Allerdale Schools Cross-Country Competition, held at Cockermouth School. Braving the challenging weather, our students put on an impressive display of perseverance and athleticism, making everyone at Workington Academy immensely proud! 🌟
The event tested not just physical endurance but also the mental toughness of every participant, and our students rose to the occasion with flying colours. Their unwavering effort and commitment were evident as they pushed themselves to give their very best on the challenging course.
