Following our Ofsted inspection on 15th September 2026, we are thrilled to share that the inspectors judged Workington Academy to be at the Strong Standard in four areas and the Expected Standard in three areas.
Workington Academy has been praised by Ofsted for its inclusive ethos and commitment to helping young people succeed.
As you will know, Workington Academy was inspected by Ofsted earlier this year and I am delighted to tell you the school has been rated Good in all areas.

As you will know, in May, Workington Academy was inspected by Ofsted. This was our first inspection since the Academy was formed. The report contains some promising feedback and I am writing to share the main findings with you.
