Next week will be incredibly busy and there are many opportunities for our students that will enrich their school experience and benefit both our school and local community.
Key Stage Three students have spent the day investigating and writing about meteorite landings and extraterrestrials across all of their subjects.
Cumbria Education Trust (CET) has been confirmed by the Secretary of State as the new sponsor of The Whitehaven Academy following a resolution that was passed by CET’s Board of Trustees.

Workington Academy has offered the opportunity for The Whitehaven Academy students to join Workington Academy’s Sixth Form from September.

As you will know, in May, Workington Academy was inspected by Ofsted. This was our first inspection since the Academy was formed. The report contains some promising feedback and I am writing to share the main findings with you.
We have accepted an invitation to be involved in an exciting community event on 29 June 2018 called ‘The Wheelie Bin Challenge’.
