This Friday (15/11/19), Workington Academy will show support for Children in Need by inviting students and teachers to wear something yellow.
Rather than hold a non-uniform day we would request that students wear an additional yellow item or swap an item of their uniform for something yellow e.g. yellow tie, yellow socks, yellow tights, yellow head/hair band, yellow badge etc.
There will also be a number of events running throughout the day to further support this event including and student vs staff netball match and a whole school quiz. More details will be shared with students at the start of this week.
