Our Year 10 girls’ rugby league team delivered an outstanding performance in the Year 10 County Rugby League Tournament, finishing as runners-up after a highly competitive campaign.
The team showed incredible skill, determination, and teamwork, winning all but one of their matches.
Over the course of the tournament, the girls displayed superb attacking play, crossing the try line an impressive 22 times. Their strong defence and aggressive tackling kept opponents under pressure, but despite their best efforts, they narrowly missed out on the top spot.
Several players stood out for their exceptional performances, with Lexi Hay, Odette Brown, and Angel Clay making significant contributions. Their attacking flair, defensive strength, and leadership on the field were instrumental in the team’s success.
Although they just fell short of the title, the team should be extremely proud of their achievement, demonstrating both resilience and a fantastic team spirit throughout the tournament. Congratulations to all the players on a brilliant performance.
