It is with great sadness that we have decided to cancel our planned work experience weeks for our year 10 and year 12 students.
As of Monday, our school will be closed to support the Local Authority plan of having local area Hubs to provide childcare for the children of key workers.
Firstly, all credit to you for your maturity and positive attitude on receiving the news regarding the school closure and the cancellation of the summer exams.
It is still difficult for us all to believe that we are not in school and not together to reach the end of Year 11.
Following Thursday’s announcement regarding the closure of all schools, we would like to provide additional information for students working at home and in relation to their general well-being.

Following the government COBRA meeting yesterday, England has now moved to the ‘delay’ phase. This means advice to schools and families has now changed.
