Students Raise Money for Academy Defibrillator

KS3 Students Keeley, Erin-Nicole , Lexie and Demi visited Flimby Primary School on Thursday. 12 December to support their Foundation Stage Christmas performance of ‘A Christmas Journey’.

The week before half term saw the Graduation and Celebration Events take place for Year 5 students who have attended our 2019 Maths and English Primary Enrichment Programme.
Recently we welcomed 340 Year 6 students to Workington Academy for our spectacular Under the Sea Day. Children from seven of our feeder schools joined together to enjoy a day of English and Drama activities.
Year 7 student Josh Bragg and Miss Tweddle – Year 7 DoL, had a very enjoyable afternoon at one of our feeder primary schools on Friday.
Workington Academy staff and students were thrilled to take Year 6 visitors out of this world on Friday 13th October for a special Sci-Fi spectacular!
Workington Academy joined in Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning. Students and staff baked and donated cakes, which were enjoyed by all.
