A group of Key Stage 3 students were selected to work with BBC staff on the outdoor broadcast bus as part of BBC School Report 2017.
For BBC News School Report day 2017 our students researched, wrote and presented the news as a television bulletin.
Students in Years 7 to 10 had the opportunity to engage with industry professionals during the BBC's nationwide schools tour, which aimed to inspire the next generation of storytellers and creatives.
I felt it was important to write after the release of the OFQUAL consultation outcome on how grades will be awarded to students in year 11 and year 13 in the summer.
