Today is about celebrating some of the incredible achievements of our young people. It is for this reason that we like to recognise the individual success stories below and congratulate all the young people on their achievements today and wish them all the very best for the future.
All students who took part in our CET Innovate Competition, were recently awarded Headteacher Recognition Awards from Mr Bedford, including our team of finalists – Jordan, Riley, Laney and Millie from Year 7.
As we approach the end of this academic year, I would like to remind you of the importance of your child attending Workington Academy, throughout all remaining days of this school year.
The Year 10 team would like to thank all of the amazing businesses in our local community and beyond who have supported our students on their work experience placements last week.
